Our goal is to make your shopping experience easy, efficient and fair.The following policies are designed to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of the purchasing process on our sites, including but not limited to,  www.gopuntacana.com.  

 

This Purchase Policy applies to any purchase on our Site made on or after January 1, 2021, including any major ticket sales. If you have any questions, please contact us.

1. Currency

​

All ticket prices are expressed​​ in US dollars and Dominican pesos.

2. Payment methods

​

We accept various payment methods to meet your needs, including (but not limited to) American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Paypal.

 

3. Delivery methods

Generally, some of the following shipping methods can be offered:

  • Print-at-Home or Mobile Tickets: For events that occur mainly in Santo Domingo, Punta Cana or anywhere in the country, if the place has installed and enabled the necessary equipment to support this technology, before finalizing the purchase on the website , you will be prompted.
     

  • Will Call: Go through authorized points of sale to pick up your tickets and at the event venue the same day.
     

  • Home delivery: Your tickets will be sent home as long as this option is enabled on the website of said event, it will have the details for specified areas of the country.

 

4. Who are you buying from

​

We act as the intermediary for those who provide events, such as artists, venues, teams, fan clubs, promoters, and leagues (the "Event Organizer"). We generally sell tickets on behalf of the Event Organizer, although in some exceptional cases we may have a small number of tickets as part of our service contract with the Event Organizer. When you purchase a ticket for an event that is located in the Dominican Republic, Go Punta Cana will handle the transaction and collect the payment from the Event Organizer.

5. Prices and availability

​

We sell tickets on behalf of the event organizers, which means that we do not set the prices of the tickets our website has in real time the location of the seats by sections. Event organizers often set the face price of their tickets. Ballots are generally sold through various distribution points, including websites, apps, and points of sale. Most distribution points generally access the same ticket and inventory sales system; therefore, tickets for popular events can sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event. However, we do not control this inventory or its availability.

6. Order confirmation and purchase processing

​

Your order is confirmed when we send you a confirmation at the end of the sale, in the form of an email ("Confirmation of your order"). If you do not receive a Confirmation of your order after the end of the sale, or if you experience an error message or a service interruption in the payment gateway, it is your responsibility to confirm through your account or by email admin@gopuntacana.com  whether your order has been placed or not. Only you can be aware of the problems that may arise during the purchase process. We will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) if you assume that an order was not placed because you did not receive the confirmation.

7. Service charge, taxes and shipping costs

​

Tickets purchased on our Site are generally subject to, among other possible charges, a service charge for tickets. In some cases, you may be able to buy tickets directly at the ticket office for the same price as published on the website with the same service charge. We collect taxes as required by local laws. We can show the tax separately or include it in the total amount of the service charge. In many cases, you may have to pay a shipping or delivery charge. Shipping or delivery charges are calculated based on the delivery location and shipping method.

8. Number of Ballots "Limit of ballots"

​

When purchasing tickets on our Site, you are limited to a specific number of tickets for each event (also known as a "ticket limit"). This ticket limit is published during the purchase process and is verified with each transaction. This policy is in effect to discourage unfair ballot buying practices. Each account must be linked to a unique individual and must contain valid and verifiable information. Multiple accounts cannot be used to circumvent or exceed published ballot limits. If you exceed or attempt to exceed the posted ticket limits, we reserve the right to cancel, without prior notice, any or all orders and tickets, in addition to prohibiting your ability to purchase tickets. Similarly on our website, the shopping cart has a time limit which consists of a time of 30 minutes for the user to decide to finalize their purchase.

9. Cancellations, postponed events, reschedules, changes of venue

​

Occasionally events are canceled, postponed, rescheduled for a different date, or moved to a different location:

 

If the event is canceled: no action is required to obtain a refund; We will issue a refund to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, once the funds have been received from the Event Organizer.

 

In some cases, the event organizer may also give you the option to choose a credit or a refund; If so, we will send you a notification explaining your options and how to submit a credit application.

 

If the event is postponed, rescheduled, or moved - Your tickets (including any additional add-ons or enhancements, such as parking) are still valid and no further action is required. However, the event organizer may approve refunds, or the option to choose between a refund or a credit, for the event; Any refund and / or credit policy is determined on an event-by-event basis by the Event Organizer.

 

If your event is canceled, postponed, rescheduled or transferred, we will try to contact you to update you on the status of the event and inform you about any refund procedure, this can be via email with the client's account or called by our Call Center team, for credit or exchange. We will not be responsible for travel or any other expense that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a canceled, postponed, rescheduled or relocated event.

10. Returns, credit and exchanges ​

​

All sales are final and refunds are only allowed in limited circumstances, as explained in this section and in the Canceled, Postponed, Rescheduled and Moved Events section above.

 

Before buying tickets, carefully review your event and the selection of seats or sections. In no case will shipping costs be reimbursed, in case an event has that option activated, the purchase of merchandise, fan club memberships or any other amount.

 

If a refund is issued, it will be processed with the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We are unable to issue a refund to a different credit or debit card (this includes refund requests made through the self-service option).

 

If your credit or debit card number has changed, but it is for the same account (for example, a new card has been issued for the same account), the refund will be processed to that account.

 

Note that seating maps are representative of the layout of a venue; however, they are subject to change at any time and refunds are not allowed if the seat map is updated, if additional seats / rows are added, or if the seats change as a result of a section change after purchase.

11. Accounts, orders, verification of billing information

 

All information about accounts and orders must be valid and is subject to verification. Orders are subject to credit card approval and are processed only after the billing address associated with your credit card and other billing information has been verified. Orders that are made, or are attempted to be made, using an account with any information that is considered false, misleading, incorrect or incomplete, or that cannot be verified as belonging to the account holder, such as name, address, email address, phone number, IP address or other account or billing information are subject to cancellation at any time. Additionally, if your order is canceled for any of the above reasons, we may sell your tickets to another customer without prior notice.

12. Multiple browser screens

​

When ordering tickets online with us, be sure to select the "Buy Tickets" button at your event and place an order using just one browser window. ¨Buying Tickets¨ using multiple browser windows could result in the loss of your tickets, errors during the checkout process or the expiration of the timer in the shopping cart.

13. Recording, transmission and exhibition

​

You agree that the event for which you purchase tickets is a public event, that your appearance and actions in and out of the venue are public in nature, and that you have no expectations of privacy regarding your actions or conduct at the event. .

 

You grant us, the event organizers, our partners, licensees and assigns, including but not limited to our brand and media partners, permission to use your name, likeness, likeness, acts, poses, plays, appearance, movements, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video or photography display or other transmission, display, publication or reproduction made of, or at, the event (regardless of whether before, during or after the reproduction or performance) to any purpose, in any way, in any medium or context now known or developed in the future, without further authorization or compensation to you or anyone acting on your behalf.

 

In the case of virtual events, you can view the virtual event solely for your own personal purpose. You may not record, copy, publicly display, broadcast or distribute any virtual event by any means, resell views of any virtual event, or allow others to log into your account for the purpose of viewing a virtual event.

14. Illegal reselling of tickets and promotions

​

Illegal resale (or attempted illegal resale) of ballots, including but not limited to, counterfeiting or copying of ballots, is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. You are responsible for complying with all applicable ballot resale laws. Additionally, we reserve the right to restrict or deny ticket purchase privileges to anyone we determine is or has violated our policies. Because we do not guarantee the authenticity of tickets purchased from any unauthorized third-party reseller, we recommend that you purchase tickets directly from us, through authorized partners, or at the local ticket office to ensure the authenticity of the tickets. Ballots may not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes, unless we grant formal written authorization.
